get the right infrastructure in place and hire the right people- >> when i got hired, , i did not knknowgng but d you already have some eect as thee perfect blowout, that does not have thee personality, or meon that has the personality but not the skill? >> they have to have the right personality, be really nice. highly said the blocks have to be fantastic but the -- i ve always said the gloves need to be fantaic but customer servrvice, better. [laughter] >> if only. michael, some the lessons you learned? >> the two biggest thingngs are hiring out of the curve. we opened the first nine locations with sheer muscle, not knowing what we're doing. we broughtht on a seasoned executive. it was hard to pay for the salary bore we really needed it, but we knew we did not need to do it. higher ahead of the curve. the second part was rsing money. it was eye-openi to see private equity guys interested inin i investiting, and to navigate that world he made another tough decision, with an investment bank th ran a a form pross. it w was night and day difference. we w were able to pick a quality partrtn
