steve: new developments in the knoxville cross controversy. last night, voters ousted the 2 city council members who voted to remove a veterans memorial, which included a cross, from a city park. kcci's marcus mcintosh is just back from knoxville with the story. marcus: steve, it may have been that vote that played a role in the ouster of april verwers and carolyn formanek. this was the scene in august, as a few thousand people packed young's park in knoxville to make it known they want the veterans memorial to stay put. just monday night both verwers and formanek voted to remove the memorial from the park. we found people at the park today who tell us the ballots cast is indicative of the people of knoxville getting the last word. >> i feel they made a big mistake by having it moved out. i think they were put to much pressure on by one person. there should have been a cross there. there is nothing wrong with a soldier praying at a cross there that is for his own benefit. that is for his own benefit. , marcus: tonight at 6:00, we take a pulse
