chief meteorologist paul deanno of our san francisco station kpi exis tracking this multi-day storm threat. >> more than 100 million americans will be under the threat of severe weather over the next 48 hours. let's get to it. this morning it is east texas stretching in to louisiana dealing with this severe weather right now. it's a classic setup. strong low pressure system over the red river valley pulling in very warm, very humid, and very unstable air, and a lain of strong thunderstorms with wind gusts will march east over the next two days. so our severe weather outlook for today includes wind damage, hail, and isolated tornadoes. the biggest risk, the strongest risk is much of the state of alabama, much of the state of mississippi, and also the eastern half of louisiana, including the cities of jackson and birminghamnd and new orleans with slight thunderstorm risks, severe thunderstorm risks. on friday the storm and severe weather threat moves east. the highest risk of severe thunderstorms which includes isolated tornadoes once again stretches from south washington, d.c., including no
