the showers are starting to taper off but we still have raindrops on our rooftop camera here at kpix can barely make out the bay bridge. heading into the next couple of hours, there is unsettled weather. you could see some drizzly conditions at times but compared to this morning, a huge system that swept its way through the bay area, a lot more calm. the winds sweeping in from the south. there is a reason why the planes are landing in a different direction at sfo. heading into the next couple of hours, we will start to see the winds died down along our coastline. take a look at our first alert weather, light showers still falling down into the santa clara valley and into southern portions of gilroy. we will watch light systems move through our coastline and off into the east as we head into the evening and early morning hours tomorrow. i mentioned it already that we will dry out into the evening hours tonight, early morning hours tomorrow and then we are left with a dry break thursday, friday, heading into saturday. there is some unsettled weather in our long-range models but heading

this is a live look at the bay bridge from kpix where we are currently in the 40s right now.s kind of floating in and we're seeing some drizzle in the forecast for us right now on the first alert doppler. the roads could be slick as you are heading out the door this morning. keep that in mind and give yourself extra space out there as commute to work or school. here's on the first alert doppler. light drizzle near san francisco across the bay bridge over into oakland. richmond getting hit with light drizzle too and that's the case as you head south just along 101 closer to the airport. as we extend into this afternoon that's continuing to be the trend for us. light rain moving in from offshore. this is not a washout event by any means. just a mix of sun and clouds and a little bit of rain in the forecast for us today. that's going to linger into the overnight hours tonight and it clears up in the forecast for us tomorrow though. we're left with sunshine in the forecast for us tomorrow too. as we take ate step back i want to mention something else. not only dealing with a litt

from our rooftop cam here at kpix. let me show you what is happening in the next couple of days and let's start off with the good news and the bad news and kind of just in news in general. what's happening is we head into the forecast this weekend is we have rain in the forecast starting this afternoon and lasting throughout our forecast tomorrow. and all the way into sunday as well. 4:00 to 8:00 tomorrow night down into the santa clara valley at levi's stadium but let's actually show you what it's going to look like. not too alarming in the grand scheme of things. light rain and showers that we're going to have tomorrow and pop-up storms tomorrow too. but what happens is the area of low pressure starting to build in and we're going to get a taste of it around lunchtime today along the coastline and up into north bay and actually see the heaviest rainfall this afternoon into the evening hours tonight up in the north bay with pockets of heavier showers stretching down into the santa clara valley tonight too. now as we w
