little pockets 40s and along i-25, about 54 in broomfield, 50 degrees in boulder, 30s in estes park, kremmling and silverthorne, too. on hd doppler 9 what you see is what you get. it's been quiet weatherwise in colorado, all eyes across the atlantic coast line as hurricane matthew continues its track. it's just been riding parallel to the coastlines, but a bit of good news with this latest report out that the center of the storm system, the eye, is really beginning to br we are seeing signs that this system will start to weaken. the southeastern quadrant of this storm system is it really lacking afar as rainfall -- is really lacking as far as rainfall. however, the moisture is rolling inland along the i-95 corridor from charleston to savannah, extremely heavy amounts on the interstate. thus far only several hours into this event we're close to 4 inches in a lot of locations, about 1 1/2 inches in up as the storm system potentially looks to barrel in within the next 12 hours or so right there along the coast line. still a cat 2. that means sustained winds 105 miles per hour. it's moving directl

in the high country there is a few spots with teens like kremmling and gunnison. this afternoon temperatures in the mountains ranging from the 60s to the 70s and for lower elevations temperatures generally in the 70s. that puts us about ten degrees tonight temperatures will drop to around 39 degrees. i didn't show you the future cast. it is dry across the state. dry on roads on i-70, i-76 and i-25. today, a-basin officially opens. kick off of ski season. if you want to spend time over the weekend near summit county the temperatures will be in the 60s for saturday and sunday. more spring skiing conditions out there. for us here in the city it is going to be warmer. high of 78 on saturday and and tuesday. we could see a chance for isolated showers on tuesday. that forecast for the game on monday. the broncos versus texans is looking fantastic. after that notice how we continue the very dry weather trend and mild. temperatures in the 70s and 60s for next week. how are the roads looking? >> we are clearing out up to the north. such good news for drivers around 104th.

down across the southeastern 2nd of our -- section of our state, about 34 in kremmling, very interesting this front is affecting eastern colorado through tomorrow, but you'll notice daytime highs to the west. they won't be anything. temperatures warming up, not a lot of moisture. by about 10 p.m. a couple little light rain showers to the north. across the eastern plains we're watching the clouds push through. there's that front as well as that early morning drizzle, 5, 6 a.m. if you're an early riser, you're out the door and off to work, you might have a little slowdown, but i don't think it lasts. if anything, we're left with some of that fog that takes us through about 10:00, 10:30 in the morning. around lunchtime all is well. we'll watch a few more clouds pour in by about 10 or 11 p.m. tomorrow evening, but conditions pretty dry west of the continental divide. rain showers only increasing for eastern colorado and even at that i mean .1 or less, so not that impressive. as far as temperatures, that is what we'll all notice and feel, 58 degrees for tomorrow afternoon with that early morn
