kris sanchez has the latest on the suspect and the investigation. kris? >> reporter: hi there, raj.in just the last few hours, sources confirm for nbc bay area that ramineh behbehanian is a pharmacist and works for a company that represents johnson & johnson. she had to have known that it could be deadly. business was brisk at this starbucks store on snell avenue in south san jose a day after san jose police arrested this woman, 50-year-old rchl amineh behbehanian for placing two bottles of orange juice into the refrigerator case with rubbing alcohol. >> a suspect overheard a conversation and she became startled and concerned that she was going to be caught, ended up fleeing the coffee shop, got into a car, other employees actually followed her outside and got her license plate number. >> reporter: the san jose fire department identified the chemical as rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol in a quantity large enough to kill someone if ingested. san jose police tracked her to a home a few miles away and arrested her. out of an abundance of caution, all juice from this store was destr

nbc bay area's kris sanchez is there. joins us live with more on the continued search. >> reporter: we are starting to learn a little bit more about the man that the sheriff's deputies are looking for tonight. reuben ramirez. we now know that he is known to officers because they have responded to this home in the past because of him. not because of domest violence but because he has a history of mental illness and that has been an issue in the past. the sheriff is not saying this is the man responsible for the stabbing. they are saying he lives in the home where they were found and he is a relative and has not been seen and that is why they want to talk with him. there are family members who are also making themselves available to work with police tonight. one of them is the one who walked into the house and found the family stabbed. we don't know the relation between the person of interest, reuben ramirez and the woman who was stabbed nor the relationship between the woman and the children. we know that reuben ramirez is

three critical issues here, kris. capital punishment and the way we conducted that, medical treatment of the prisoners or the lack thereof and overcrowding. the judges have been satisfied for the first two areas. okay, fine, but overcrowding remains an issue. so much so that at least one judge may cite brown for contempt if he does not end overcrowding soon. to his credit, brown's already reduced the state prison population by 30,000 prisoners. mostly by moving them to the counties. we've talked about that before, but the state -- the supreme court, the u.s. court of appeals said that brown has not done enough to solve this problem. >> clearly, governor brown thinks he has done enough and that moving those prisoners to their, you know, local municipalities was a big part of that. what does he say now? >> he's got a problem now. he's responding in two fronts. first, he's threatening to take the oversight issue to the u.s. supreme court where he would argue that california has a substantially complied with the court ord

we begin with kris sanchez who joins us with the emotional reaction from one of the women who survived. >> reporter: only four women were able to survive that fiery limousine ride here on saturday night. and she tells me that she was released from the hospital today as the limousine driver did not do enough fast enough to save her friends. less than two days ago they were in this town car headed to a bridal shower when says she saw fire. she said she tried to get the driver, orville brown to stop.

joining us now on the phone is kris sanchez there in the neighborhood. she just arrived on the scene. what are you hearing from police at this point? >> reporter: we are talking to the santa clara county sheriff spokesperson. he just gave us brand new information saying that the officers from santa clara police, santa clara sheriff's department and san jose police are going door to door looking for a person of interest, a man by the name of reuben ramirez, about 210 pounds. black hair and brown eyes. they are asking anyone in the neighborhood to stay inside and if they see anything suspicious this is a man that they would like to talk with. they are not calling him a suspect. they are not calling him a killer. what they are saying is that he lives in the home where the three victims were found and he has not been located. i have the update on the victims. when the person who lives in the homeiv
