good morning, sam and kris. we did speak with the fire department and between them examine calfiand calfire, they plan to have about 70 men and women here and also nearby at alum rock. this is one home that was lost in yesterday's fire, and within the past hour, the family who lives here removed papers from their site and they're still on-site sifting through the debris with shovels to see if anything else can be salvaged. this fire started about 4:30 yesterday afternoon and quickly traveled up the hills here in east san jose. it burned 150 acres. the fire is out but firefighters only have a fire alarm out about 50% of the burn area. there are still things in it smoldering so today they wanted to extend that containment line to 100%. given all the smoke here, they only lost one house. the man across the street was stunned the fire didn't spread to his home, too, given he was only 150 feet from this home. >> i'm amazed that nobody was hurt, and two, that it skipped our house. >> reporter: how do you wrap your min
