good morning to you, kris and scott, to honor and remember san jose police officer, michael johnson. the city and state have come together to do something that's usually, typically reserved for highway patrol officer. what they've done today is they've renamed a section of highway 87 after officer johnson. within the past hour at the great oaks parkway, san jose police station in the south county, the department brass, mayor, and officer johnson's family, they dedicated, quote, memorial highway. the city unveiled a mock-up of the sign with the officer's name. they had the ceremony here, because it would have been too dangerous along the very busy highway 87. the section of highway 87 that is named after officer johnson will run from interstate 280 south to highway 85. if you're not familiar, this is a major corridor for commuters driving to and from work in silicon valley. it is exactly one year ago today that officer johnson, a 14-year veteran of the force, this is when he was killed in the line of duty. he was responding to reports of an armed suicidal man at an apartment complex o
