i'm kris sanchez along with rob mayeda. usually we start at 7:00, so we miss the sunrise, so this is nice. >> right now in san francisco where the camera is located, briezy out there as winds are picking up out of the north and a pretty mild start to the morning. 61 degrees. not far off from the high temperatures we saw yesterday. the wind coming in off the ocean, keeping things cool yesterday. notice the direction of the arrows we're seeing this morning out of the north as high pressure builds in as the system that brought the showers and snow to the sierras now heading off to the rockies. we'll see the temperatures climbing up today. lots of sunshine around, and our temperatures today will be climbing from the sierra all the way out to san francisco as we go through the afternoon hours today. not 60s and low 70s, rather upper 70s out toward santa cruz, gorgeous day to take mom to the south coast. 67 in monterrey, 76 in yosemite, and 90s start to show up, and mid- to upper 90s show up in the full forecast in a few minutes.
