we talked with kris van cleave taking a closer look at this issue. >> we spoke with a major who had recently retired. she did four overseas tours, one in iraq, one in afghanistan. she experienced ptsd and she said, as an officer, it was a real challenge to get to the point where you could admit that you needed help. she also realized to be a good leader for her troops she needed to work through some of those residual issues. we talked to jessica lynch. this was a prj o.w., somebody who's story was well known. you would think that of all people, jes can lynch would have been somebody who would have felt comfortable asking for some of the mental help challenges that come with her experience but because her story was so well known, because she had gotten so much attention and help already, she felt guilty almost asking for more, and it took her about a decade before she was really ready to ask for help. >> you can see kris's full report coming up after the news at 3:00 on the cbs evening news with noral o'donnell. >>> okay. when we talk about weather today, paul is saying warm. i'm saying hot.
