kristen sze is here with new video. >> reporter: let's start in the santa cruz mountains. the drone flying over the san jose road. the locals call it old san jose road. today marks the first time drivers have been able to use the major north-south route since february 13. that's when this past winter storm's washed out so much of the road. they put this popular route on a priority repair list. the temporary fix is now complete, although engineers continue to work on a long-term fix. this means drivers will still simd on find some restrictions.
