(s/ taylor jones / anderson county sheriff's office :11 - :18) "two students that were life again- a teenage suspect is in custody. armed officers were seen at the school, and were reportedly escorting children from the school to a nearby church. people in linn county are still urged to stay out of the evacuation area and abide by the curfew times. city of cedar rapids saying 2,500 people will be able to homes and businesses today. however, until the river recedes to a safer level, the public is advised to stay out of the evacuation area crews have been working throughtout the night

kwwl's kristin rogers--talking with a witness today--kristin? that's right -- i spoke with a man who says he heard the gunshot--and spoke with the suspects-- while his girlfriend tended to parks-- this all happening just before eight yesterday morning-- a tuesday morning unlike any other-- that's when he went outside-- "one of the girls in the back seat opened the door and said my sister has been shot." but earlier in the morning boike and his girlfriend let the girls into their home. "said they were locked out of their house and were cold and they needed to use the bathroom." boike then remembers parks--being polite--and happy.
