news4's kristin wright is live in gaithersburg with more on the investigation.ristin. >> reporter: yeah, we just talked with montgomery county fire rescue, and they gave us a few more details about what happened. right now, they're looking at several potential causes of the fire and gaves more details. take a look here. two people living upstairs and people living the people upstairs were alerted by their smoke alarms that there was a fire going on. they called 911. they weren't exactly sure who was home downstairs. they thought the person living down there wasn't home. now, they are and people waking up to the news that this was a fatal fire. firefighters found the man's body in the basement. investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire. firefighters said the fire was possibly set by gas in some way. and that made it harder to fight. it was a big one, a lot of flames. the man, again, found in the debris, just after midnight. so far, investigators have not identified him quite yet. they're working on all of those details right now. aaron, like i
