. >> kristine aolagi and i am a long time activist and the mission district i have been concerned about what is happen ng that neighborhood, as you can see tonight we have so many people from the mission district and it is a broad base of support for this move and this swap of the property and because what was seen in the mission was displacement that is occurring at such a phenomenal level and so we are seeing the closure in the mission,, and the last affordable housing that i saw built in the mission was at 1880, mission, and there were only 20 units of, there were 40 units of, 220 units of housing so when we got 40 deeply affordable and the studios are starting at 2650 a month. and that is at just a block away from this site and so we are desperate in the neighborhood we. need affordable housing for working families, many of the low income family and formerly homeless families are now living in single room occupancy hotels and sometimes 350 square feet of space. for families that are up to four and five or more. and so, i really hope that you support this. and thank you for allowing
