live in napa county, kristi smith, nbc bay area news. >> kristi, thank you very much. >>> buildings christina loren you've been telling us about the high winds and temps. >> coupled together, fire danger. north 25 miles an hour, very dry wind, 21 miles per hour sustained. in san jose. lets talk about what's happening. the entire state dealing with high fire danger about 1,000 feet. the only two active fires we're watching now right here in the bay area, both in the north bay. keep that red flag warning in place until 6:00 p.m. just want to point out and give you an idea of where these fires are burning. first silverado, 75 acres, 60 pours containment right now. a larger fire just to the north. that is the yellow fire, 125 acres. only 50% contained. what i can tell you is those winds will continue to gust today. as we head through tomorrow, the winds will drop off and heat cranks up. it's still going to be very high temperatures and very dry out there. you want to keep that in mind. tomorrow one more day of fire safety. friday some major improvement comes our way, cooling sea breeze. we'll see
