tropical storm kristi and hurricane hector. hurricane hector we have been watching. this is a major hurricane. here is the forecast track cell of the hawaiian islands. probably the biggest impact will be some outer rain bands moving into the big island and increasing surf out of the south. that is hurricane hector with wind up 125 miles an hour. in the bay area this is a big area of high pressure building in. this will be the source of some warming inland. that would translate to some 90s later today. cool spots for the coast once again in the upper 50s to close to 60. we will take the hottest today tomorrow inland, mid to upper 90s with persistent fog coast side over the next few days. here we are, the fog this morning will gradually clear back to near the coastline and temperatures this afternoon, 90s towards fairfield and vacaville. santa rosa 89. 70s heading inland. temperatures jumping back up to the low to mid 90s. san jose 85. gilroy 94. san francisco 64 degrees with some patchy fog into the afternoon. definitely bundle up if you're heading to san francisco. t
