kristy greenberg, i guess i will start with you on the basic question.trials, unlike civil trials, the defendant has to be there all the time. so, there is just a basic problem, which is that there is only one donald trump. and he can't be into places that once. so, how do you see this unfold? >> well, we are going to see the judges in these different cases privately conferring about schedules. but i still maintain that the january 6th trial that jack smith is bringing in d.c. -- that trial will go first. it is the most streamlined, because you have got one defendant versus 19. but it is a case of public interest, both that and georgia case. are you have the former president and the current presidential candidate being charged with seeking to overturn the results of an election. there is an intense public interest there. but one is a streamlined case. and one has 19 defendants. you also have the situation where the federal case can go away, if it is delayed. if donald trump or any republican takes office, there could be a pardon. and they could just have

kristie, thank you so much for being here. here come all the legal questions. what does the news about two witnesses are set to testify on tuesday signal about today fani willis's timeline? should we also expect to see charges brought on tuesday? >> it depends on whether or not those two individuals were given a 48-hour notice, which would suggest that things are wrapping up. there is not the public recording to suggest whether not that has occurred. plenty of other appointing that is suggesting that we could be looking as soon as tuesday at the indictment. remember she sent a letter to the court in various charges. local law enforcement. that this last week and this week of august is going to be the weekend we should've ramped up security and her employees are going to be working remotely. all of that suggests that if an indictment is coming this week. >> what is the significance of the guardian report that the a willis has evidence of voting machines breached in georgia? >> now she is looking as many of our reporters, here she is looking at bringing rico char

kristy, i keep pointing this out because i think it's a part of actual accountability -- we have this twice-impeached now multiple times indicted president going on air repeatedly saying that he will exact retribution against people doing their job should he take power in the white house. is there anything legal that can be done about this? seems like somebody who's continuously threatening lawyers judges and potential jurors should be facing consequences right now. >> well, you have judge chucken who said in probably the most stark terms, there is an order now by that judge that you cannot intimidate and threaten witnesses in the case and you can't do other things to really taint the jury pool in the way that you're speaking, in a threatening and intimidating way about the case. so just chutkin means business. if he crosses that line in her estimation, i think she will call him in, and there will be warnings, but ultimately i think that she would be in a position to hold him in contempt of her order. the penalties could range. there could be monetary sanctions but if he's flagrant in

former federal prosecutor, kristy greenberg, we're going to show the upcoming calendar for the civilngs sort of could get moved around because of the georgia case, which we haven't seen an indictment there yet, so far, which do you see as being the hardest for trump's lawyers to defend and which case do you see as maybe being the most challenging for the prosecution? >> well, i think the most serious is the most recent indictment, the january 6th indictment. this goes to the heart of trying to overturn the results of, you know, an election. and he is a former president and he's running for president. so i think those are the most serious charges. but certainly the classified documents case, we're talking about the nation's secrets, and what he did to not only not protect those, but potentially disseminate information to those who did not have the security clearance. that's incredibly serious as well. not to mention all of the obstruction that went along with that that's charged in that classified documents case. the two federal cases are incredible serious and it remains to be seen w

ladies first here, kristie. so, judge chutkan wrote, the governments motions granted in part and the night in parts. how about you? what is your assessment? who do you think one and who lost? >> well, i think this is a protective orders are very routine. this protective order is unusually stringent in several aspects. you have defense counsel, who has to maintain custody and control of any sensitive materials, which under this protective order, really amounts to a lot. a witness interview transcripts. the exhibits like along with them. you, know any materials that got from a search warrant or grand jury subpoena return. that's the bulk of the governments evidence, and donald trump doesn't get to keep that on his own. he can't have copies of. it under this order, he also can't write down personal identifying information. and defense council actually has to inspect any notes he takes to ensure that that order is complied with. he also review the material -- >> that's a question. why do his lawyers have to inspect

kristie, i want to share with you something that we heard from fani willis, because we could be seeing a fourth indictment from her out of georgia. watch this. >> are some people who say that there already three indictments against former president. they argue that even if there were crimes committed here in fulton county, a fourth indictment isn't worth all the work that would come of it. to people who say that what would you say? >> that i took an off and that the oath requires that i follow the law. that if someone broke the law in fulton county, georgia that i have a duty to prosecute. that's exactly what i plan to do. would >> you think we'll see in the coming weeks? >> i think you're gonna see a sprawling indictment from fani willis. she sent target letters to over a dozen individuals, not just donald trump. >> can you remind our audience what that means? >> a target letter is simply her letting that individual know that she's got the goods on them. she has substantial evidence that they've committed a crime. and you don't send those letters lightly, particularly former president
