kristy siefkin joins us with the forecast. another mild summer weekend. >> pretty much.nother cool one. we are getting some 80s but it should be 90s in a lot of the inland locations. this is the pattern all season long. below-average temperatures, once again today, but still sunshine out there. and we're actually seeing some temperatures in the 80s in the inland spots. a different story as you can see at the golden gate bridge right now. plenty of fog. cloud cover elsewhere around the bay shores. and the temperatures definitely starting to cool off by this evening. but outside right now, seeing temperatures in the low 80s in the inland locations. and high 70s as well, 77 for redwood city, and 60 in san francisco. and 78 in san rafael. so for tonight, we will be clear. in those inland locations. becoming mostly cloudy. a little bit later on. the bay will be partly cloudy. and then become mostly cloudy in those overnight hours. seeing some fog at the coastline. temperatures are going to be in the 50s at our coolest point. for tomorrow, we will see patchy fog in the inland

kristy siefkin is on treasure island, with the latest milestone for >>> 6:55. bridge project parts are expected to arrive from china. kristy seifkin reports. >>> this morning we were hoping they would show us the lights but we'll have to wait for this evening for that. as we hear that the final four pieces are about to arrive, it's sinking in that this will be a reality soon. those final four pieces will comprise the area that the motorists are driving on the deck. it's taken four years for them to fabricate those sections of bridge so as you can imagine, caltrans is looking forward to the precious delivery. once the sections of the deck arrive, all of the elements needed to finish the bridge reconstruction will now be here in san francisco. in fact, in the next few weeks, crews will start lifting the bridge cables and putting those into place. and if everything goes according to plan, construction will be six months ahead of the schedule and they will be in time for the america's cup races in september 2013. as i said about this big lighting reveal they are doi

kristy siefkin joins us now from oakland... preparing >>> still no word of an arrest in the drive by shooting that killed a 3-year-old boy. kristy seifkin joins us with more. >> reporter: good morning. it was yesterday just after 1 p.m. that carlos navis' family was walking along international boulevard pushing the boy in a stroller. a couple of men were walking ahead of the family. then a car drove by and opened fire at those two men. a bullet then hit carlos in the neck. he was rushed to children's hospital in oakland, where he later died. now, police put some of their force on tactical alert after the shooting. and they also held over day watch units to patrol the area. the mayor's office has also asked for federal assistance in this case. this is also because of the increase in shootings in oakland because of the assistance request. it stems from an ongoing feud between two parties but they aren't saying whether or not this incident was gang-related. the two men targeted in the shooting are not yet identified. they sustained
