in vallejo, lindsey ford kron 4 news. chp is looking for the driver connected to a deadly hit and run. this happened santa rosa. >> this happened saturday night. i'll have one-on-one right near still lane. police say a pedestrian was found lying in the road and have been hit by a car. victim died at the scene. well, santa rosa arrested a man for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver in a road incident. 22 year-old calvin crop is the suspect. police responding to west 3rd street and ahmed or drive around 05:00pm saturday. theuspe was later found near stoney point road and guerneville road with crump's one nth old child and the child's mother in the car. poce also found a loaded gun and ammunition in the trunk. the mother of the child were released. crop was booked into the sonoma county jail. a woman in fairfield was killed in a head-on collision. this happened on sunday morning, lopes road right near civil creek road. police say a car crossed into the opposite lane cause of that accident. the investigation is ongoing

strokes in the san jose kron. four's check moment has more on the story. >> today was a huge, huge, really. >> for myself for everybody that i've been working with. >> lora sandoval is a respiratory therapist at regional medical center. the hospital was for years. the only hospital in east side, san jose able to handle heart attacks and strokes. but since it started shutting down services, sandoval has been taking on shifts. a good samaritan in west san jose. you know, obviously it hasn't been an easy road, but after fears of layoffs and the hospital losing more services, the county of santa clara says it's coming through to buy the hospital for 150 million dollars. this is a really critical milestone for the community. james williams as the county executive and says the county has until april first to finalize the sale hospital employees will have to reapply for their jobs. but tell kron 4 they were promised to their current positions. >> what i've heard when i've met with employees at regional is a tremendous am

i'm rob nesbitt kron. 4 news. the governor is getting a lot of pressure because of the crisis that's going on with the fires in la and he is expanding. >> his special legislative session now to address that by including wildfire response and then also the original plan, which was to discuss plans to fight the trump administration. governor newsom wants to allocate 2 and a half billion dollars for the state's emergency fire response, including recovery cleanup efforts, state assistance to rebuild schools and more spending for wildfire preparedness in an announcement. newsom said in part, quote, california is organizing a marshall plan to help los angeles rebuild faster and stronger to the people of los angeles. we have your back. republicans, however, are calling on the governor and the democrats to work with president trump instead of fighting him. the president elect has threatened to block disaster relief to california. and so that's the concern they would like the governor, however, to concentrate just on the w
