krystal klei is checking the weather. it looks great outside. awesome.omorrow is a very different story. she has more of the first alert neighborhood forecast. >> you're right, rosemary, things are nice to start the morning. we have warm air over the region. temperatures were way warmer than average. look at the morning start in delaware neighborhoods. wilmington, 45 degrees, harmony hills at 39 degrees. a lot of us in the 40s. if we drop further south, you see most locations are around the lower 40s. georgetown is 42 degrees, milton hangs onto upper 30s. upper 30s doesn't sound too bad when you look at the change we're expecting by sunday. partially because of the wind. here's the timing of storms we're looking at coming our direction. starting at 6:00 p.m., western most parts of the viewing area, areas of chester and burkes county, lehigh valley area. that starts at 6:00. through 8:00 p.m. through philadelphia and into delaware, new jersey, and then out by midnight. that's the precipitation part of the storm. the type, rain for philadelphia and south,

meteorologist krystal klei is tracking it all in the first alert neighborhood forecast. krystal? >> i hear people saying we're not ready. we are looking at temperatures in the 30s across the board. some of us are now in the 20s. 27 degrees in vineland. 39 in philadelphia. that's the official temperature. although some parts of the area are already looking at temperatures right at or below freezing. 35 in dover. check it out, atlantic city dropped as well. 29 degrees. that's the current temperature we're dealing with. if you compare to 24 hours ago, we are all looking much cooler than yesterday morning. 14 degrees in coatesville, 15 degrees cooler in wilmington, 21 in atlantic city. when you step out the doors, you're going to need a few layers. i even threw on a scarf. it is a cold start, especially if you get an early start to your day. radar and satellite shows that you don't need the umbrella, leave it home. we aren't dealing with high winds and rain in the forecast. it will be dry and sunny. it is just going to be very cool out there. we aren't expecting temperatures to climb

let's check in with meteorologist krystal klei. she has details on the weekend forecast. krystal?et probably all day. temperatures are going to be warming a lot. looking at cool air hanging over the region. right now, numbers are slowly starting to climb. just in the last 30 seconds, we saw numbers up some. we are in the 40s in some places, better than the 20s and 30s we started with this morning. 40 in wilmington, 42 in dover, philadelphia. lancaster holding on to the 30s, barely at 39 degrees. a lot of us, trenton, mount holly, right around 40 degrees. 40s right now. aren't going to see a lot warming into the afternoon, upper 40s to low 50s for forecast high temperatures. looking at radar and satellite, we are clear currently, clear the rest of the day, not expecting rain in the forecast. and actually we are expecting winds to stay on the light side compared to yesterday. currently winds are 10 miles per hour across the board, philadelphia, wildwood, dover. that will continue later today. light to breezy

meteorologist krystal klei tracking a beautiful fall day ahead. krystal. >> good news. forecast looking great again just like yesterday. temperatures are going to move into the sick by this afternoon. actually a quick warm-up, we've seen temperatures 53 to 58 in philadelphia. i wouldn't be surprised if some parts of philadelphia comes through mid-50s range again like yesterday. 50 philadelphia, 57 in pennsylvania suburb. mid-50s stretching across the board here. new jersey to the lehigh valley and check out delaware at 58 where we do have in the forecast some mid-60s expected later today. let's take a look. the official forecast high we're expecting right around 60 to again mid-60s. we're 60 in the suburbs, 62 in new jersey, 61 for lehigh valley. jersey shore 62 degrees, a bit breezy in today's forecast. not high winds but gusts around 20 to 25 miles per hour. those winds picking up a bit outside. not only that clear conditions, not only but the region. want to talk about what that means for the temperatures over the next several days. we'll see you in a bit. >> thank y

meteorologist krystal klei is tracking all these changes for us. krystal? >> yeah, and thank goodness. we saw the timing change of it. earlier on in the week, models were trying to push this out this morning then it started to look like it would happen overnight. we adjusted the forecast and it was on point with timing. we saw the showers, the rain/snow mix move through and as expected it turned to snow further north parts of our viewing area. now, it's all about the temperatures out there. because, it is cold. so we just saw this map a second ago. here's the closer look at what it feels like outside because of the high winds, and the cold air in place behind that front that passed us overnight. 14 is what it feels like in mount pocono where they did see snow throughout the night. 26 in pottstown and 30 for philadelphia. millville at 29 and the same for atlantic city. on top of that, while some areas are actually seeing clouds break apart including philadelphia, looking at the next round of thicker cloud coverage and isolated snow showers tracking just to t

krystal you told us this was going to happen. i think it's still a shock to the system, though. >> oh, yeah. we were warning about it all week long, saying don't let these nice temperatures fool you. even yesterday a high of 72 degrees. take a look behind me. now we've got snow on our cameras. this is a look at camelback mountain around the poconos where snow is coming down right now and you can see they already got the nice coating, a couple of inches in the poconos from last night when the system first moved through. radar and satellite showing us the white you see is very light snow that is falling. it is starting to creep right on into that northern most part of our viewing area. some very light spots of snow, may clip our zone and as it passes through philadelphia turn into rain. but it's going to be very isolated spotty in nature, if you can make it here, most has been breaking apart before tracking into our area. the wide view here shows us how much more really does sit to our north where they're really getting the good
