we're going to check in with krystal klei. it has been so frigid, krystal, the last few days. it has warmed up and that has bode well for us on the roads. >> absolutely. that's what we were expecting was going to happen. this was a warm front that moved in. that sounds weird that a warm front moved in. it is not going to be warm or hot but warmer air than what we have been seeing. we saw highs in the 30s. not the case for today. a look at camelback mountain. even in camelback mountain, temperatures are going to boost up to the 30s, potentially near 40. we see that now this live camera is showing we are no longer tracking that wintry mix falling stl throughout the morning. areas like allentown, we saw icing. that has been stopped as well. we are no longer seeing freezing rain reports there. instead, it is all rain in our neck of the woods. what we are looking at here is that that line of rain is starting to weaken on the back side. as this tracks from west to east, we will start to see less and less rain. this is going to be later on. for the morning commute, starting right now

that's what meteorologist krystal klei is taking a close look at for now. krystal? >> we had our eyes close on the numbers. they're slowly climbing. this is what we need to see. we are right at freezing. still upper 20s in mays landing, summer point. not a big difference from a half hour ago. some spots a degree or two warmer. what's happening is that warm air is wedging in. that's above the surface, starting to see the precipitation melt. we need that warm air to make it down to the ground so it stays melted instead of refreezing and becoming icy conditions that are dangerous. that's what we are seeing in delaware and new jersey currently. looking at philadelphia, all the temperatures below freezing. graduate hospital, 28, chestnut hill, 25. same for fox chase, mid-20s. then looking at the lehigh valley. a lot of time for us before we see the numbers get above freezing. most of us in the lehigh valley, berks county in the 20s. moving through allentown, 23 degrees for the current temperature. look at what we are looking at for your time line. ending of snow and ice.

let's get the details from the first alert meteorologist krystal klei. krystal? >> the issue that's first alert, because we are looking at some areas seeing accumulating snow sunday night into monday morning. here's a look at the first alert. lehigh valley, berks county, through the pennsylvania suburbs, particularly the upper portions, northern edge of the suburbs where we may see accumulating snow, there's a time line. it starts sunday afternoon in the lehigh valley. into the night we will see the line move in. that will last into monday morning. then mostly turn to rain. what we are looking at is the possibility of some accumulation of snow changing to wintry mix, then to rain. wintry mix the big concern. maybe that changeover in the morning commute, meaning icy roadways north and west of philadelphia. here are temperatures now. compare to what you found a second ago, feels like temperatures. that's what it feels like due to winds and cool air. 27 in philadelphia, feels like 20 outside. areas like lancaster, 25. feeling like the teens. allentown at 28. millvil

meteorologist krystal klei has all the details and the timing of it. krystal. >> what we're doing is already tracking some of that winter precipitation moving into our area. don't be deceived. the entire area is showing up, actual snow making it to the ground. sometimes radar will show it high in the sky, not making it to the surface. that is the case over the viewing zone. seeing snow reports to the ground from harrisburg and further to the northwest. the snow that you see through parts of berks county, lehigh valley, chester county, newcastle county not necessarily making it to the surface. in fact, if we zoom in you see deeper purple in wilmington. i think there's light snow making it to the ground in small pockets as this moves along. in wilmington, 20 minutes ago, a report just overcast conditions. we just had a viewer in dealt report saying no snow where they are. this is a heads up. we're not actually seeing snow for the most part but do not be surprised by very light isolated snow showers extending through chester county or even into parts of b

let's get to meteorologist krystal klei. >> it's cold to start out in the morning. yesterday it was a totally different story. 50s, 60s on the map. not going to see that today. in fact, you're not going to see that at any point in today's forecast. temperatures mostly in the 20s, some of us holding tight to the low 30s. 31 degrees vineland, atlantic city. philadelphia at 29 and alan town at 23. trenton right now at 26. mount pocono at 13 degrees. that's the actual temperature. look at the feels like conditions. they're improving slightly in areas like mount pocono now at 4. that meanings the winds have weakened just a bit. overall it's cold out there. 19 now when it feels like in philadelphia and in wilmington. 18 in coatsville and mount holly. notice where the winds are lighter. winds make a difference. they start to pick up. we feel colder than it truly is. radar and satellite for us. what we have is the rain sitting down to the now southeast of us. that line passed yesterday. and if we look farther to the west there's nothing heading our direction. we're going to

meteorologist krystal klei is tracking a mild but soggy start to our saturday. krystal? >> that's right. we are watching most of us with wet roadways, because we have been seeing rain. just in the northernmost edge of the poconos, a mix has been falling through the morning. some spots could be icy patches moving through. the rain is moving along, seen it for the last several hours straight. it is not going to end quite yet, but you can see that ending line starting to develop. then we will see scattered showers continue in the early afternoon. really this line is starting to move out of berks county now, close to chester county. everywhere else looking at mostly light to moderate rain. it isn't a downpour but enough to make the roads wet. we have foggy conditions to boot. scattered showers linger into the late morning, early afternoon. overall it will start to move out and then we'll be left with just clouds. as for temperatures, we're not cold enough for snow or ice in most of the area. upper to mid-30s in the suburbs, pottstown, 36, lancaster 39. areas like philadelphi

. >> krystal has more on the warmup. >> we're ready for it to start happening. there it is, comparing today to yesterday this exact same time. it's 9 degrees warmer in dover, allentown, nearly at that 10 mark and trenton at 11 degrees warmer. here's the actual temps, a lot of these are at the 40s. we officially hit 45 in philadelphia this afternoon. now at 42 degrees. even allen getting in on the action at freezing. we're going to see these clouds hanging on. we have seen these clouds throughout the day. what we're looking at on radar, the snow isn't making it to the ground in the lehigh valley, but there's snow in the upper layers of the atmosphere. 38 by 6:00 here, we get to freezing right around 10:00. and that's pretty much where we'll stay as we move into tomorrow morning in philadelphia. for the suburbs, clouds hanging on. we get a little colder with clouds in the 20s there. we don't see that huge plunge in the overnight hours and early a.m. hours like we have been seeing. in the lehigh valley, 33 degrees around 6:00. so we did see right now we're in the u
