meteorologist krystal klei here. we're taking a look at the hour-by-hour model and now focusing on the i-95 corridor. stretching from wilmington, into philadelphia and then trenton. south, all the way into parts of our south jersey neighborhoods as well. this is starting at 6:00 tonight. notice, we start dry. so the evening commute in this area is going to be a dry one, possibly a few like sprinkles out there at best. but temperatures much too warm for anything other than rain. and that really starts to pick up around 8:00 this evening. light rain showering. we get that mixing farther north. again, tonight, we're not worried about that commute. then we start to see overnight, that change increasing and wobbling against philadelphia, trenton and it's going to continue to wobble right against this corridor through the morning on oncwednesday. that's why we're saying that the morning commute can be a bit messy. take a look here. the temperatures right above freezing. that's the borderline you need for sleet mixing acros

for a closer look at what you can expect in your neighborhood we'll send it over to krystal klei. >> this is live view looking down broad street. broad street for your morning commute, we said this for the last few days, would probably be wet and you'd have to use your windshield wipers. i think this evening we're going to take that picture and it's going toby a lot more white. let's go through the timing. now through 8:a.m., we're still following wet snow, a little bit of rain mixing in there parts of the 95 corridor. from 8:00 to 1078 in t:00 in th morning, that's when that snow line, that mixing line just sitting south of 95 corridor is going to slump more south. and what that means is if it starts to slump more south, then you've got a steadier consistent snow starting to stick in philadelphia. and by 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. this is when the models start to crank up. and when the winds crank up highest as well. from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. that's when the snow starts to slow. not necessarily as strong as last friday but because of weakened trees and power lines getting stacked up with

for a closer look at our break downs we'll go to meteorologist krystal klei. >> at different parts of the day you'll see different things. you can see the camera on broad street is wet, but not necessarily snow on them. i think that's where the concern picks up late morning through the afternoon. wet snow with some rain mixing around philly and particularly farther south. as we get from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. that snow line is going to drop further south. what i mean right now is the steadiest snow is in suburbs, and that's going to dip down. the heaviest snowfalls with the lowest visibility, we're talking at times 1 to 2 inches falling per hour. that's the type of rate where it's difficult to drive. snow totals across our region our highest amounts are going to be further north. that's where we're looking at 8 to 13 inches possible. 4 to 8 inches along the i-95 corridor. notice in chestnut hill, parts of manayunk, you're in that the potential for showers. and through this morning it's going to be messy. wet roads but not snowy roads yet. as we get into midday that's where some of the hea

krystal klei tracking the storm for us. >> we are seeing the areas that were maybe dry for a brief period. and you also notice those brighter blue returns. that indicates a steadier snow falling. and it's right on cue. and that rain-snow line that has been edging north would start to sink south again. tight view of philadelphia. we've got a bit of snow falling through and at this point it's little pockets but going toby in steadier swath bands we expect as we get into the late afternoon hour. i know this probably looks like, hey, we're not going to see anything up here, but this is going to fill out as we go on and that coastal low approaches our coastline. we did launch storm ranger 10. and the return here indicates it is all snow in parts of montgomery county and chester county and even farther south that is falling. here's our future model. and as we go through the 8:00 a.m. model to about 10:00 a.m. you can see the mixing line is down through parts of south jersey. heavier rain is possible further south and now brushing the i-95 corridor. this continues. look at 1:00. this is heavy sn
