i'm first alert meteorologist krystal klei. we were in the upper 20s to 30, 31 degrees. below freezing. look at the actual temperatures here. this is the impact of the winds we're still battling thanks to that system from two days ago now. 36 in pottstown. 38 in wilmington and 39 in atlantic city. we've got the upper 30s, even low 40s for actual temperatures. you can see the only spot that's sitting below the freezing line in our region is mt. pocono where some reports of almost 2 feet of snow fell. that area is going to stay around freezing territory. wind gusts, this is a good sign. they're not like they were yesterday. instead, only gusts at around 20, 25 miles per hour. not even reporting philly, dover or toms river at this point. only into the 30s at best for the highest gusts that we see this afternoon. nonetheless, winds around 15, 25 miles per hour. the feels-like trend. 10:00 a.m. in philadelphia, 31 degrees, feeling like 37 in the afternoon. but it will be sunny out there. sky conditions will be nice. just feel cold all day long. 35 for the feels-like this afte

meteorologist krystal klei here. we're taking a look at the hour-by-hour model and now focusing on the i-95 corridor. stretching from wilmington, into philadelphia and then trenton. south, all the way into parts of our south jersey neighborhoods as well. this is starting at 6:00 tonight. notice, we start dry. so the evening commute in this area is going to be a dry one, possibly a few like sprinkles out there at best. but temperatures much too warm for anything other than rain. and that really starts to pick up around 8:00 this evening. light rain showering. we get that mixing farther north. again, tonight, we're not worried about that commute. then we start to see overnight, that change increasing and wobbling against philadelphia, trenton and it's going to continue to wobble right against this corridor through the morning on oncwednesday. that's why we're saying that the morning commute can be a bit messy. take a look here. the temperatures right above freezing. that's the borderline you need for sleet mixing acros

snow, but for a closer look at snow totals we're going to send it over to meteorologist kryst krystal klei. >> this is actually from storm ranger 10 we longed into the suburbs yesterday so we could get an accurate picture. and so far storm ranger reporting just snow throughout the suburbs. these are snow totals we are forecasting. we have updated this map just a bit last night as we were watching that storm develop off the coastline. around 8 to 13 inches, could see a bit more in parts of upper burkes county, berks county and lehigh valley and up through the poconos where the total will possibly be a bit higher. 6 to 10 inches over the suburbs and stretching out through chester county as well. and look at this blue. this is the 4 to 8 inch range. wilmington, through delco, except for the northern most range of philadelphia like chestnut hill, and then that stretches into mercer county as well. it'll be a quick 2 to 6enches that falls over parts of south jersey. and mostly rain expected along the delaware shore and jersey beaches. i think this model showing the line starts to edge close to

and for a closer look at some of our snowfall totals we'll send it over to meteorologist krystal klei. >> tweaking the numbers a bit now we're actually seeing that storm come into fruition. they look pretty and fluffy but most of them as they hit the ground are melting off. let's talk those snowstorm totals across the region. the highest tolls are going to be over lehigh valley, bucks county. as we go around the i-95 corridor, wilmington, philadelphia and just that tip of mercer county, this is that 4 to 8 inch range. chestnut hill, parksboro probably going to see a higher amount. 2 to 6 inches in south jersey, and then we stay dry in term of snow totals at least over the injures jersey shore. strong wind gusts, we're looking at windy conditions. because we have weakened trees and snow stacking on top of them, trees coming down, power lines coming down. visibility is going do be limited this afternoon. we're talking high snowfall rate, and rain and some thunderstorms possible in the region. here's the hour by hour model. the rainfall is going to lean, but 10:00 a.m., we're expecting t

let's get to krystal klei and what we need to be alert. >> we're talking philadelphia, pa suburbs, lehigh valley and berks county down into south jersey as well as northern delaware. we're under a first alert for this nor'easter. starts at 4:00 a.m. wednesday morning to 7:00 a.m. saturday morning because we think the aftermath of the snow means there will be more cleanup involved friday. what are we looking at. friday's storm was a wind event that had snow. we're talking accumulating snow in the forecast leading to messy commutes. gusty winds where tree, power lines could come down and be impacted, especially those weakened from this past friday's storm. we have in our neck of the woods, very nice. if you look to the west, you see a big system is forming already. packs a punch with a lot of snow over areas like minneapolis and chicago approaching. this will continue in our direction and soon enough will impact our region. a winter storm watch starts in the poconos and through philly and south jersey county and newcastle county and delaware as well. for some of us, it means you will break
