and on wednesday, kyle shanahan said that he would be promoting kubiak and officially giving him theoffensive coordinator, though per nfl rules, the team has to officially hold an open search for that job and if they didn't, it would violate actually also the rooney rule, which is that the league requires the niners and all teams to interview at least two minorities for all open coordinator positions. and then, of course, there's a lot of question marks as to who will remain and who will go elsewhere come this offseason. this is a list of free agents on the niners. the team expected to work out a deal with brock purdy, who is entering the last year of his rookie rookie deal. linebacker dre greenlaw is a free agent, along with safety talanoa hufanga and cornerback charvarius ward, so we'll have to see how that all shakes out. john lynch didn't give too many details about how that will play out. now, as for wide receiver deebo samuel, there has been rumors swirling about his future with the niners. deebo had a disappointing season from a numbers standpoint. he had 51 receptions on 81 t
