to some extent the republican dysfunction is allowing the status kuo to continue in a way that many on left are happy with. as the congressman mentioned, the president is not a dictator. he's working with an intractable congress that has both in the senate and in the house done everything they can to set him up to fail. done everything to shoot, you know, his signature legislative accomplishment and then wonder why things are going wrong. we have to be focusing on is there a point in the future in which this congress will be less dysfunctional.
