to the patients, and kutos to the workers, for making sure that we understand that what we are doing sometimes has unintended consequences and this is government, listening to you. so, i am very proud of that. but, just in terms of clarity. does it mean that right now, the services will stay at the current center until a decision is made otherwise? >> yes. we will suspend the rfp process. >> so the process is suspended and you will not be making a decision to privatize the services at this point? >> that is correct. >> should there be a decision to go down the route of privatization, which many of us myself included are against that, i assume that there will be a separate and a new process for that. >> that is correct, absolutely. we will be meeting to talk with our patients. >> thank you wither much and one thing that i would say about director garcia and the being in the dekter of public health is that you are expected and you know, wanted to be everywhere. and you know? all of the time. and that is not possible, and i know that director cares a great deal about these patients and

and again, i think that the maximum kutos goes to the passengers themselves. they were, extraordinarily well behaved, polite about the major inconveniences to their lives. and the big difference between july and october, was of course, the weather, and the lines were just as long if not longer for the ferries, but this time the passengers were standing in the dark in the morning and in the dark in the evening, and it was a lot colder. not in yet they kept their spirits, and their behavior they were no incidences that were ugly or complicated and i want to commend the mtc and bart for running bus and making provision to do that ahead of time that really helped. i would like to commend them for orchestration in the response including being able to get the golden gate ferry available to run the oakland routes this time the difference was the authority dispatched the vessels according to the line and according to a time schedule. there was a 45 minute headway and they monitored the lines and sent the vessels quicker and last night, we noted that there were 536 rid

and yeah, i think that it is coming along pretty nice and also, kutos, to the renting department for getting the new, tenants in there and getting the money and keep the money coming in, and that is also very good. and so, that is, and that concludes my comments. >> and thank you. >> and thank you for the presentation, by the way. >> thank you. >> and thank you. >> thank you, that presentation was very clear and exciting to see everything moving forward and i am also impressed of getting all of the different city agency to coordinate. >> in addition to what the port will be providing with the mayor's office of housing, these with the 20 percent including of the housing on site as well as that contemplated. >> yes, the term sheet contemplates that the development will be following all of the city's applicable, affordable housing rules. and the inclusionary number, i believe is 15 percent, where there is public ownership of a site. and the private market, rate is below that at 12 percent. sxh so we are going to be at that 15 percent mark. and there is also a jobs housing linkage fee re

deserve kutos for their efforts as well as all of the port staff that participated. and we also had security guards to help keep the roadways opened, so as you probably know, there are a couple of driveways that those lines cross for the building for these security guards really helped with the people to understand, that those areas needed to be kept open and of course, the water emergency transit authority, staffed a lot of ambassadored for themselves as well. and so the laho if herry left at capacity, and the 536 oakland riders were extremely lucky because it was able to arrange for a vessel that held almost 700 to come and pick them up so they were all able to get on and they were quite relieved and i think that they had visions of having to que for hours on end and instead of running them every 45 minutes, we provided the ferries as they got long. i think that we did quite a bit of reflection, we being the broader transportation community, and all came together from july to october. with even better service, so it was very gratified by that and my compliments to

[ applause ] >> and of course, huge kutos to the zero waste team that we have to help to make that happen. a couple ofite em to highlight, the out reach staff just wrapped up the bay view zero waste campaign and this included transit media, and local newspaper advertising and a school poster contest and a grassroots event and door-to-door out reach to residents, and the efforts that we put out, produced a significant increase in composting and green participation and led to add two new organic roots to the curb side pick up service and so that was an excellent out come and a concerted effort of raising awareness in the bay view. a couple of other things to highlight, another accolades that the city of san francisco received this month, is we were ranked third in a report that was released by the american council for an energy efficient doing the most to advance, the energy efficiency and so we were ranked third behind portland and boston and it was the highest for any city in california and so again, another great recognition from a group and i want to recognize boom head who is the direc
