let's get right over to kron 4 meteorologist kyla grogan and kyla. what do we need to know? >> well, first, we need to know this is our first bout with heat this season. so you might not be apple made it to its. you want to give yourself a chance to kind of get ready for this if you are inland, you can see all the areas that are affected by this, the heat advisory and it is everywhere essentially except places that are right along the coastline or right along the bay. everyone else expected to see some of this heat and it goes through sunday. so not just today, not just tomorrow. wanted to start with our temperatures yesterday, cochran livermore got up to 94 yesterday. 92 in sandra fell. we got into the mid 80's in santa rosa napa. but 83 in san jose about 82 and our overnight lows. we're not so low. i mean, check this out. hey, we're just get down to 61 degrees overnight. so this is part of the way that we kind of stay warm is that we don't get a lot of recovery in the evening. so right now we've got blue skies as we take a live look from the east bay. and it is a beautiful

check in now with copper meteorologist kyla grogan.t official that we've kind of tipped into el nino. if this is a strong el nino is going to be interesting because they're saying it will be kind of the shortest occurrence between 2 strong el ninos. >> and again, about 56 per chance percent chance that it will go to a strong on the new. but what el nino generally provides is drier conditions, as you can see, kind of from the ohio valley down to the mid atlantic, wetter conditions along the south and then warmer conditions along the northern tier of the united states. what happens with us with el nino is kind of interesting as we sit between these 2 things, right where the pacific northwest gets warmer and southern california and sometimes central california gets wetter. so it's a little bit hard to say how indicative that's going to be of our weather in particular. but it is very interesting to kind of follow along and see how they think these things develop. i think looking at them in hindsight gives a little bit more perspective. you

kyla. thank you.earning more this afternoon about the sacramento area doctor who was arrested at sfo over the weekend. sacramento sheriff's department says doctor rashawn deep saying was accused by a patient of sexually touching her without her consent. it happened at the river pointe care facility in fair oaks. that's located in sacramento county. the report was first made back in april after further investigation. the da's office determined there was enough evidence to file felony battery charges against saying leading to his arrest. >> they say the jobs like law enforcement or fire and especially someone like a doctor. they're held to a much higher standard out again, anyone with a much higher level of trust. >> those are serving. saying quickly posted bail after his arrest, detectives say he worked as the medical director at the facility and oversaw at least. >> 2 other sites in stockton and the san joaquin county area because of this, authorities are looking for other potential victims. in the no
