it looked like l.a. could be getting four inches of rain.t would have put a high degree of vulnerability for them on the burn scars. thankfully, it looks less impactful there. the storm has shifted to the north. you see how the storm's put together. i'm going to bring the forecast map here. i want to point out a feature which is showing up in that image. when we look at the accumulated rainfall, patterns develop in these things. this is the one i'm talking about, that line. that's really kind of how -- it's like the footprint of the atmospheric river as it sets up through the pacific. where does the heavier rain accumulate. see how this thing's aimed. the aim is farther north. look at ukiah. look at san francisco. maybe about 1.75. that's wildly different than it was yesterday. that becomes a concern when you're trying to get specific forecast on a system like this. let's give this a little more time, and we'll see how this plays out. the general takeaway is rain. wednesday, thursday, friday. it doesn't look like a super impactful one for us
