it's been some time that these national weather service offices like l.a., the last time it was issuedor a blizzard warning was 1989. and the san diego office for the san bernardino mountains, it's never been done before. some of these locations are expected to pick up nearly 8 feet of snow in l.a. county as well as ventura county. above 4,000 feet in the san bernardino mountains, we can talk about picking up nearly 5 feet of snow and we're still dealing with it. you can still see that area of low pressure spinning across southern california. and the rain too on the coastline and the valleys, where we could be dealing with flooding. it's just an ongoing event over the next 24 hours. there are the blizzard warnings highlighted in orange. watches and advisories extend all the way up into the four corners and the cascades. showing you the darker pinks. that is 18 to 24 more inches on top of what we've already experienced through the sierra mountain ranges and back through the ventura county and l.a. county mountains down into parts of the san bernardino mountains as well. the greens and t

l.a. is probably synonymous with the most inner-city neighborhoods in the world. finding coyotes here is just-- just amazing to me and exciting every time i'm able to collect some more scat. here in south l.a. wetlands, there's proof that coyotes use this area because i'm finding coyote scat inside these fences. coyotes are species that most people know live in the l.a. area, but people think that they live in the mountains-- mountainous areas or griffith park, where there's more open space, but really don't think of them as animals able to adapt to this type of landscape.
