ryan's blood samples were sent for testing to an outside lab, the smithkline beecham lab in st. louis. gas chromatography on ryan's blood sample found the cause of the child's illness. it was ethylene glycol poisoning. ethylene glycol is a colors sweet tasting substance found in industrial solvents and resins. it can be fatal in large enough doses. hospital officials notified both the sheriff's department and the missouri department of family services. >> i'll take the basement. >> investigators searched the stallings' home. in the basement, they found two containers of antifreeze under a pool table. one of the containers was half empty, and it listed ethylene glycol as the main ingredient. >> you cannot form ethylene glycol in your body. the body cannot naturally form that. therefore it has to be ingested. and when you have a child that's 4 months old, a child that's 4 months old doesn't have the capability of ingesting anything. therefore it had to be purposefully ingested. >> fortunately, ryan's condition gradually improved. when he was released from the hospital, he was not

fortunately in the mobile weather lab we have a temperature that is above freezing.it is 35 degrees. that is good news. even though all of these road have been salted, cleared out and that sort of thing. with any precipitation coming down in an elevation the word you have a temperature close to freezing just take it easy out there. this is tempes basically gone but just enough remains that it can be a hassle. you can see how gray it is. you should know and probably do know that fog, even fog can freeze on a cold surface. in the wintertime all of these thanks come to mind very quickly out on the road. even though it looks dry and things have been salted sanded that sort of thing what we saw on 295 was a salt truck overturn and two tractor trailer jackknife. that is why even treated conditions can sometimes even up being very slippery a lot of hills in wilmington. they also can be a problem. we're in the finding any issues out here at this point this morning. however that is not to say that over the weekend you will not be dealing with a whole other set of problems as

he's a co-author of the new report, "guantanamo: america's battle lab."aux, you have worked on this issue of what happened that night to 9, 2000 six in guantanamo for many years. you also worked with joseph hickman on this. and your research center has just come out with a new report called "guantanamo: america's , battle lab." could you lay out what you find in this report? >> our investigation over this time first found the ncis report could not have been a credible the legitimate ops process. our next question was, and we published something on that called "death at camp delta." the next question was, how could it be so incompetent? it was one thing to imagine given people who wanted to cover it up, but why would investigative bodies cover-up deaths? our second report was called "uncovering the coverups" which came out last summer. a the real question still was, what is the motive? it turns out the motive that we found, which was before the senate report came out, was quite clear that the general in charge of the camp had been placed there by the chair
