he was convicted of killing his unborn child connor who they were going to name connor and his wife lacey back in 2002 they lived in modesto at the time. the case instantly became international news that they actually had to move the case out of modesto to redwood city. what the judge will look at in this particular case is the death sentence penalty part. now 2 months ago the california supreme court they over turned. his death sentence so they will look at the penalty phase and this is important because they found out that a juror back in the case did not disclose all of her personal information that could have. just impaired her judgment in the case so they will re examine the penalty phase. and if all goes well for scott peterson and of course his lawyers will fight for him. the ball goes well for scott peterson there is an outside chance that he could get another trial. it does not mean that he is free and clear and it is an innocent person and we will be released from san quentin but instead, the other scenario is he will get a new penalty phase and possibly a new court hearing. but
