commissioner lacroix: thank you. next speaker, please. >> good evening. thank you for having us tonight. my name is michael miller. i have been throwing events for about five years. i started organized chaos, which was founded in safety and security for venues. i work with so many teenagers. it is one of those things where they need safety. they need locations where you can do this safely, where you can support it so it does not go more to the underground, which will in the long run penalize and how they are and make it so there are more injuries and were held concerns. i have done harm reduction stuff. i am prior military. i never expected to be where i am now. i have gotten many teenagers out there who called and asked advice on how to do it safely. i really enjoyed it. a lot of strength comes from everyone coming together with a common goal. i appreciate your support. thank you. commissioner zukerman: i would like to call-up benn schell, joseph, kendra, alexander, and robin ma. >> thank you for having us. i am one of those organized teenagers that was

we walk through the findings with doctor andrea lacroix, lead author of the study.'s an epidemiologist at the fred hutchinson cancer research center in seattle. dr. lacroix, just to establish briefly where things stand as women begin to digest this new studs di, what's happened to the use of hormone therapy since that 2002 report on the combination therapy? >> what's happened in the united states is that the numbers of women using hormone therapy have declined quite a bit since 2002. >> brown: so explain what this new study was looking at. why specifically was it focused only on women who'd had hysterectomys? >> well, we started two hormone therapy trials back in the early '90s because we believed that at the time based on the totality of the evidence we believed that taking estrogen might prevent major chronic conditions in post-menopausal women like heart disease and like hip fracture and colorectal cancer and we were concerned about a possible increased risk of breast cancer. so we started both hormone therapy trials at the same time. the one we're reporting on t

[applause] commissioner lacroix: i would like to call the next names. monica salazar, diana haris, claire stephenson, sandra mayez. >> thank you for the opportunity to speak. i am an entrepreneur, software engineer, and writer. i have been going to raise -- raves in san francisco for over 20 years. my significant other and i visit the city for the events we like here. we like the positive energy and the friends we have met on the scene for so many years. it is a huge part above our lives. when i was general manager at microsoft, i hired san francisco's geomagnetic to make videos based on things i had seen at raves. the following up on the constitutional aspects, the freedom to assemble is constitutionally protected. there is often political speech as well. a great example was playing on castro on peak -- pink saturday after the marriage equality decision in 2008. there is a rich freedom of expression tradition. i hope san francisco will work with the community to take the focus on harm reduction and keep these events safe and available for everybody. th
