the original study is also available on the san francisco lafco website. supervisor campos: thank you, ms. miller. can we have the tv screen, please? >> rick hutchinson ith r 3. pleased to be here again. i did want to go through a brief smear of this report. as you know, you asked us to come back with information in four areas. information related to fees and services that were provided by the haulers to the jurisdictions. a correlation between service rates and diversion rates, fees and services, description of fixed assets held in the city of san francisco, and information regarding potential consequences and benefits related to barging. we have met with several entities, and the haulers, willed like to -- we would like to thank the i different team for this information. we listed 13 jurisdictions in the report. i am not going to go through that. what we were able to do is generate information that looked at the fees and services provided by the haulers. we divided that information by the gross revenues, and we calculated a fee and service percentage for

and lafco, right? >> that is correct. supervisor mirkarimi: then it goes, pending its approval by both commissions, to the both of supervisors, and then it is assigned to committee. >> i believe that is the correct process. supervisor mirkarimi: so most likely the budget committee will probably take it, it sounds like, or city operations, or what have you, dealing with the precedence as necessary. so it is then the committee process that we want to hit. so if you wait to a joint meeting at the end of july, then you are looking through august, and we are on recess. >> right. supervisor mirkarimi: is there any way to move this up a little bit? it wouldn't be a bad idea to get this heard. you are not moving us way after labor day. >> welsh let's do this -- well, let's do this. the issue is i don't know we will have the complete contract to you within four weeks. my guess is that would be difficult. but if there are dates that we could set as tentative dates, i could have the clerk off line do that with you, two or three date

supervisor campos: 82 pand thank you to puc and lafco staff. supervisor mirkarimi: this is a milestone. i want to thank you for helping to shepherd this along the way. i have been serving as live co- chairman for four years. i am happy to see commissioner campos now in that role. this is the long road of about eight to 10 years. there has been no conversation like what is taking place today in that eight years that has provided us more than just anecdotal data. now we have directional steps. we have different departments in the city more unified with a focus that is becoming more structured towards an objective that is delineated by a set of goals and principles outlined by both public policy, has been passed on ordnance level, and by a number of commitments expressed by the organs of city hall to go in the same direction. i do not want to leave this room without reflecting on the fact that there is a bit of a milestone in this discussion. i want to extend my compliments to the puc and lafco staff and to the commissioners for remaining open-min

we've budgeted money years ago to take care of the expenses of lafco and this program. this did not come from ratepayers. the poll cost about $50,000 to do. it did not come from the ratepayers of san francisco. >> it came from where? >> it came from revenue from power sales to the irrigation district and a variety of other customers we have on the power site. >> the people in the best of pay for this? -- modesto paid for this? >> out of the entire budget, you could pick a line item that paid for it. >> i am not sure the right person is to answer this question. maybe miss hale. commissioner torres was just speaking about the participation rates. what would be the participation rate in a 100% clean program -- green program? i would assume if 100% of the people wanted to sign up, we would not be able to provide power at 100% agreement -- green. i am hoping there is room to grow in that. i am wondering what the target is. >> we are preparing to target at launch 75,000 account holders. the survey information and the slide i set up earlier is indicative. it is not definitive.
