the presenters for the hearing in our small business leaders michael hsu, mario modicon, sharkey laguana and the members of the department's sfpd,oceia and district attorney's office .this is a comprehensive look at the impact of crime on our commercial corridors and on our neighborhood small businesses and what the city's current efforts to prevent this type of crime that is, that has been so devastating not just to the businesses but our neighborhoods and our communities so i really appreciate all of the important work that's already happening across the departments but i think the hearing highlighted that we need to do a lot more to support oursmall businesses , to recover from the difficulties of the pandemic and thrive into the future so i am very committed to following up on this hearing with the key small business stakeholders and also the departments on exploring new policies and programs that will help prevent crime impacting our neighborhood small businesses and this will be one of my top priorities in the upcoming budget process and i also wanted to mention in particular i am
