a significant number in laguardia airport.e a look at my shoulder at the departure monitor and all of the red indicating a cancellation. 320 cancellations today and that is 55 percent of all flights. also boston airport logan, 69 percent of all flights and newark 33 percent and jfk slightly more than a quarter of all flights have been cancelled today because of the weather. and then there are the delays. 1200 of them system wide. one reason for the delays, we have seen in laguardia airport, they are de- icing aircraft before they can depart. a number of airlines are suspending the change and cancellation fees for flights affected because of the storm. those are virgin, jet blue and united. as for the folks in the airport that we talked with. many anticipated the delays and some cases they got a notification and e-mail from the airport. there is frustration but the passengers seem to be keeping their blood pressure in check. >> at this point i am an experienced traveller. i know that you have to allow some flexibility for delay
