at laguna honda we also have some additional positive news. the biggest piece of this is -- let's see. here we go. the biggest piece of that is in a prior financial report there was a change to the way the state pays us for our distinct nursing facility supplemental dollars. they've changed their policy to give us an interim payment, which means we get our money sooner and more accurately . they've gone two years retroactively in the current year so let's bump that number up by about another $6 million so that has made laguna honda project to end the year in a more positive financial bottom-line. in the other divisions you see essentially similar outcomes to what we've seen in the past. we continue, although we did fix the structural budget issues at san francisco and general and laguna honda. we still do have some issues at the other divisions and you can't to see a little bit of personnel cost variance in those divisions that's been historical and we're going to try to chip away at that over time in the coming budgets. so again, not a whole

general most of the primary care and specialty clinics now have vmi and one clinic is online at laguna honda also now have vmi and the new hospital being built every in patient unit will have the ability for any level of interpreter service and we cover the languages more importantly we have access to one hundred additional languages for clients. we've made significant progress also in that at the moment we can actually translate materials between 7 and 14 days which is quite a record that we're very proud of. the interesting thing is even though we're talking about language it's one of the areas also that we're getting lots of demands around braille so that's an area that we're trying to work on and trying to develop expertise around braille and getting access to translation services for braille and something not spoken to is san francisco is getting older so we're getting requests for -- fonts we've also made a -- every clinic has signage and we're able to provide it and another thing is actually have the units in the department of public health totally responsible for language assets and

seniors and persons with disabilities in their home and saves being forced into nursing homes, into laguna honda. one day as we all know from our own parents, grandparents, they want to stay always in their own home. i also would like to bring up the issue of fixing elevators in s-r-o hotels, particularly for seniors and persons with disabilities. the mayor has found some funding for this program for public housing, but we need at least a million dollars to start off for people who are living in s-r-o hotels. they have been stranded, some seniors, for literally weeks, we've heard testimony. and finally, i'd like to bring up the university mound home. we would like some seed money. we've asked the mayor for this and we'd also like the board to support so when senior who are over 50 who could be evicted in the next few weeks could stay in a assisted living place. thank you very much. >> thank you. next speaker, please.
