the sheriff's office continues to investigate another drowning at lake berryessa. it's the second one in just a week, the latest victim went into the water to save his son. they were near oak shore's on the western side of the lake. it's the same area where a 16 year old fairfield boy drowned last monday. this time a father drought, investigators say 35 year old marcy i owe. perez of san pablo was at the lake with his son. suddenly the boy had gone too far out into the lake and was not able to get back to shore while trying to rescue his son. perez began struggling and disappeared under the surface of the water. deputies say several people went into the lake to try to help the father. but it was simply too late. officials say people are often deceived because the water looks relatively calm. i think the combination of the water clarity not being great, um, it's oak shores itself. as soon as you get into the water, it drops off pretty rapidly and i think um a lot of people assume that the water line every once they hit the water line that it's not very steep, but it

there have been 12 drownings at lake berryessa, since 2019 and seven of them have taken place in oak shore's the victim last month. dimitriou perry. it was considered very athletic, but not a very strong swimmer. officials are reminding people to be very careful around the water and suggest wearing life jackets, especially on that part of the lake. back to you, garcia. greg. thank you. the search for three men missing in the sacrament of delta has turned into recovery operation. now sheriff deputies say the men were part of a group fishing on the river bank right near the three mile slough bridge across the river from rio vista. i saw an eight year old child struggling in the water. five men jumped into the river. the child was pulled the safety and only two men, including the one you're about to hear from juan cabrera were able to get out of the water themselves. we're asking for help, i scream, get tired. and then there's a piece happens so fast. street people friends. the coast guard continued the recovery operation through the night. so far, there are no signs of any of the men.
