very quietly and eventually found herself pretty happily settled in salt lake city. so i went to meet with her there and she was she was a very interesting person. she was a little tiny woman. she had the biggest smile. she was really happy. and i had met a lot of dissidents from china who weren't quite as her english name was, sunshine, and that completely captured her. i had met a lot of artists from china who probably wouldn't be called sunshine. they'd been through a lot. she had been through a lot, but she had this incredible attitude about it. by the time i met her, she was really surprised because it was 25 years after the fact. she really surprised that anyone was still interested in what had happened back in china. so i spent a few days with her in salt lake. we really hit it off. we talked about and we did a lot of interviews. we talked about kind of everything and then toward the end of my visit with her, she said, i want to show you something. and i thought, you know, who knows what this could be? she was very interesting woman and she drove me to a strip
