lake county officials are warning people who use water from clear lake.to drink because it's not so clear there are high levels of attacks in and that water because of the drought. so people who use the water could get sick if they drink it and it's not been filtered properly. the county sayssthis warning is for people who live around the sulphur bank mine and along the shore of clear lakes, lower and oaks arms and they say it's very difficult to address this issue because simply boiling the water are putting chemicals in the lake are not going to get rid of the bacteria. there are some water filling stations nearby that you can use if you live in that area and you need safe drinking water and you don't use in the system, you rely on the lake. you may remember the recent cleanup efforts, but even still lake tahoe is the world's clearest lake. you know, you saw all the trash in the cleanup efforts but is still looking good clears in clear lake, i guess the state of the laker port was by uc davis found the amount of xu plankton in the water is dropping and

taking a look at those fire lines here in the bay area where things were heading up, up there in lake county especially we continue to see warm temperatures. 84 degrees, 26% humidity, so things very dry there. the other sites, quite dry. what might help is that at least for the moment, we don't have very strong winds. and that helps with that firefight. aircrews did get in on that fire, but still warm and dry there clear lake. we are still in the mid-70s around concord, and up in the hills, saratoga, 71 degrees. what's interesting is the 24 hour temperature change, we are starting to be a clash of the crawling reaching into north. we see cooling temperatures compared to 24 hours ago, and will, that island of heat in there along the inland east bay valleys. the cooling effect should be well underway. a stronger seabees pushing away some of that hot air up towards the sacramento valley. a big change in temperatures coming tomorrow in some places like concord and fairfield. we are talking at least 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the highs we had today, at the cooling trend isn't sticking around. b

we had lightning strikes earlier this morning, not just her on the coastal areas but around lake county well. as we show you what is happening, we may get another push of tropical moisture in the form of the remnants of tropical storm frank expected to move northward. it's the leftovers later this week that could add to the humidity. it is humate across parts of the bay area. when the dew point is 61 in places like half moon bay and fairfield, it's humid is now anywhere from these, and the water temperature, 57 degrees. a couple hundredths of an inch of rain. these are not official totals. san jose, a trace of an inch. concord picking up 100 of an inch. you are seeing some of the clouds right now, the possibility of showers lingering tomorrow, remaining humid for the bay area as we head into tomorrow. a couple showers tonight not out of the question, but we will certainly see another push of moisture. this model wants to bring in the chance of showers tomorrow afternoon. i would hang onto the umbrellas because the models are different. if we get any rain, it will be only a couple hundre
