in the north bay, something that we're encountering in sonoma and napa solano counties with freeze warnings up in the lakeno counties. so really cold one. it's clear, it's cool. it's dry and we're right behind multiple cold fronts that slid through all. this is adding up to one of the coldest mornings of the season so far lows dropping well into the 30's, not just for the north bay, but a couple spots right along side. the shore of the bay. currently scares skies are crystal clear all the way up the coastline. we are seeing some lingering rain and snow in the kern county mountains to the south and east of u.s. bay area, though we are in for a dry trend of whether it is cold to start this day. we've got an arctic air mass that is plunge deep into the west coast. we made our way past fall and now it just feels like winter for a lot of the western u.s.. this is so needed, though. building snowpack early in the season like this from the rockies to the sierra, nevada is going to help us a whole lot with drought conditions, especially because it is a cold system. so less of that immediate melt off occurring and
