the shortlist includes a footbridge in tintagel, a boat museum in the lake district and a universityome housing for key workers in cambridge. let's take a look. we created a place that has a real sense of community and where the residents can feel they belong to. i'm kaori ohsugi, a director at stanton williams. we are the architects for the key worker housing at addington, north west cambridge. the project consists of ten buildings, containing 264 apartment buildings. the focus was on, sort of, creating spaces between the buildings, rather than the buildings. we created a network of interconnecting courtyards, a sequence of spaces of varying character and size responding to the social functions, starting from the public urban space of market square through to the much more community—focused landscape court. so, the buildings are arranged to frame these spaces. the positioning and the, kind of, undercuts that were introduced are intended to create moments of intimacy and a sense of a discovery. this project is key worker housing for the university of cambridge's staff and researchers

caltrans in the california highway patrol and truckee, ghana, south lake child district three and districtghway 50 close this morning in that burn area. they were just having a lot of loose rocks start to fall. i guess there's some hazard trees that crossed highway 50, so they had to close it this morning for about four hours to claire highway. 50 is going to be a challenge all winter long with the way the parador came over it. it hits here at trial. unfortunately sierra is not going to be able to get an early opening this year. john rice and their team have done an amazing job, but they got burned over so they're going to have to recover. i 80 they had some challenges there as well. old highway 40 up towards daughter passed that's closed due to a mudslide, so we got some challenging conditions right now. with these teams. they're well seasoned. we're getting ready to go. thanksgiving's around the corner, but it just feels good to have the fire's out. it seems mother nature come back to the sierra club. obviously, people are excited to get back onto the slopes. what would be your advice to
