so shasta dam isn't doing that right now but lake of course roville nearby, also in my district in northern california is dumping water. and i understand army corps of engineers has a goal of making sure there's enough storage to make up for mass amounts of rain. and indeed we've gotten a lot of rain lately. shasta dam had a peak inflow of 120,000 cubic feet per second, i think it was yesterday. oraville peaked at 107,000 feet per second but beth of those dams have a massive amount of space behind them. oraville, i think 400,000 more acre-feet of space, and shasta dam maybe 500,000 feet of acre -- acre-feet of space. this storm is going to end mostly tomorrow. at that point those numbers, they've already tailed off from the peaks i said in the 100,000s. each are down now 50,000 c.f.s. coming in. those numbers will continue to tail off as the rain stops. and so we'll have a situation where, yeah, we got a good influx of water that's going to help fill the lakes. as i said they're each still far from their goal of being full. and when you recall, you went nearly zero for january on rainfall i
