so this is winston avenue at near lake merced, and i'll turn the camera around. like they just started wrapping up. but some of the people here are folks who live in some of these rvs that line the street. there are families. there was an 11 year old girl who spoke on behalf of her and her family. they're talking about the situation here. city leaders and the coalition on homelessness estimate there's hundreds of people who live in this unofficial rv community, as many as 143 families. and for the past year, sfmta has been trying to implement a plan to enforce a four hour time limit for parking here and tow any vehicles that violate it, including some of these rvs. but at the request of homeless support organizations and some city leaders that plan was delayed late last year. it is now supposed to go into effect july 1st, so the group of residents here are calling on city leaders to help them find a new designated parking spot so that they can stay in their rvs long term. and they say if they don't, they really have no place else to go because housing is so expen
