planning to head out with me on saturday, i'll be at the women's march emceeing there in oakland at lake merrittit starts at about 10:00 in the morning. temperatures will be in the low 50s but i'll make sure we've got some sunshine throughout the day. and this is also the last weekend to check out the lantern light festival in pleasanton at the alame memeda county fairgr. it will be dry out there. if you are going to squaw valley it will be tough getting there. once they clear the roads on friday, we'll see some peeks of sunshine, highs in the mid-30s. saturday is looking great but headed back, you may run into a few issues as the snow returns. and then for the tri valley, some highs in the low 60s for saturday. that looks to be the day to get out there. it will be the warmest and every now and then we may see the sun peeking out. we'll talk about today as the storm approaches and what to expect, that's coming up in about three minutes. >> want to be mindful of all of that, kari, thank you. >>> coming up on "today in the bay," breaking news, a quake hits the east bay, a 3.4, centered in piedmont
