we are near lake sonoma. those retardant bombers now a common sight in the skies over wine country today. this fire started yesterday afternoon. quickly growing to about 1200 acres. you can see some of the aerial fight here. the good news is, this isn't spreading very much. that's the silver lining. cal fire though attacking this from the air and on the ground. containment has grown just a little bit to 20. now, just a few minutes ago, cal fire confirmed at least two homes have been destroyed. video shows some of the structures on fire. our sky ranger spotted some of the burned out buildings. now evacuation orders are still in effect in dry creek valley. here's a map here. dry creek valley is dotted with some private vineyards, ranches, and farms. the county says 240 people have been told to leave, with another 400 people under evacuation warnings, though some people have decided just to defy all of those orders and stay and protect their homes. one man says he watched two homes burn from his own front yard.

so as we started off, if you missed my earlier update, the point fire right here near lake sonoma, this off yesterday afternoon and evening. the way the wind's been blowing, it's been pushing it right towards dry creek road. but firefighters have astonishingly been able to keep it to only 1000 acres. now we know some properties, some homes have unfortunately been lost in this, but with the weather tomorrow and also currently at 67 degrees, winds only out of the north at eight, this should help firefighters tomorrow we're at 86 sustained winds. at 14. we might get some occasional gusts in the afternoon up to about 25, but some of the worst wind we've been dealing with with this fire has now started to exit. so overall, as we roll through tomorrow's forecast, it's only five to about ten miles per hour here throughout the greater bay area. for the morning. then as we head through the afternoon, we are going to get into our typical afternoon sea breeze coming out of the northwest 15 to 35. this usually helps to import some humidity, so it's not the driest of winds. and we're going to see th
