we know that he was arrested as he was being released from jail at south lake tahoe. not a lot of information about the four murders he allegedly committed, just that they were in northern california. district attorney's office says they occurred in 1978 1979 and in 1993 and 1994. a former neighbor of naso she lived near him in reno. saying he had strange behavior. >> one of the things that was really odd he would never had garbage pickup at his residence never had mail delivery at his residence. so those types of things were very odd for the neighborhood to see. >> reporter: naso was in jail at south lake tahoe for violating probation stemming from a 2009 conviction on petty theft at a grocery store. he has a number of arrests for petty theft nothing heavy but when they went to his house on a probation check, they noticed a number of weapons there. that is what led to his arrest that put him in jail in the first place. what happened between then and now to tie him four homicides we don't know. we will avenues conference today and we'll get some answers. >> kristen: w

he says 77-year-old joseph naso of reno was arrested in lake tahoe yesterday after he was released from the el dorado county jail on an unrelated charge. he was arrested last april during a visit to his home. they say they found evidence that links him to the four murders. roxanne roggasch found in 1977, pamela parsons and tracy tofoya in 1993 and 1994, and in contra costa county, carmen colon, whose body was now under 1978. the d.a. says investigators made their first connection to the roggasch case in marin county. >> during that arrest, investigators found items by mr. naso that implicated him in multiple murders of young women. >> reporter: marin county's d.a. says the investigation into naso as a murder suspect has been going on now for the past year and it still is continuing. the three counties with the murder victims may do a combined prosecution. naso is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow on the four counts of murder. back to you. >> thank you. >>> second homicide in two days in concord now appears to be a case of murder-suicide. police responding to a distress call on bedford

right now, our satellite radar pimping we have some clouds and even a little bit of rainfall near lake tahoe but this system is so very weak, not he seeing anything in the form of rainfall here across the bay area and we do not expect nil tonight. what we will be following is this area of low pressure still in the pacific, that continues to drop down, mostly our best chance of some showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms as we head into thursday's forecast, that's when most of you will notice once again that rainfall on the increase. we will look at about possibly a quarter to maybe a half-inch of rainfall. so, not a large storm system, but certainly something that's going to change it up for us. meanwhile here across the u.s., we have been recovering from some deadly and also severe weather throughout the southeast. look at this over 1,000 reports of damaging wind, 89 reports of hail and 38 tornadoes in the past 24 hours. two deaths out of dodge county, georgia. we have video out of the southeast and what we found here was a lot of these strong straightline winds and these tornadoes tha
