lake tahoe looking pretty good today. fog kind of stays along the coast, hugging the coast throughout much of the day today. all right. the forecast, the morning clouds today. temperatures cool, only in the mid-50s throughout the morning hours. about 78 inland. we should top out about 65 in the city to upper 80s further inland for your high temperatures. we will take a look at some areas today from campbell, about 82 for you. sunnyvale, 78 degrees the high temperature. san jose about 80 degrees. and cloudy, foggy conditions from pacifica down through half moon bay. temperatures there only in the upper 50s. same for daly city. kind of cool along the coast. look for a high in san francisco, south san francisco about 70 degrees. we will see temperatures in the lower 80s here. san leandro, about 73. 72 for you in oakland. we will see temperatures warming up in the lower 90s around the inland areas and 64 in monterey. the seven-day forecast shows the cooling trend, upper 80s by the middle part of the week. last week we were in

the plane crashed just moments after take off from the south lake tahoe airport.witnesses say they heard the engine having trouble then saw the plane turn, dip and crash into a meadow. that crash started a small brush fire. the faa says there were several people aboard, none of them has been identified yet. the plane was registered to a fresno man who went on a trip to tahoe this weekend with his wife, daughter and two friends. >>> victims of the refinery fire must now file their claims by phone. meantime a class action lawsuit against the oil company is forming during a meeting yesterday in richmond residents learned how they could join the suit. more than 18,000 individual claims have been filed so far. stemming from the august 6 fire, chevron will not comment on the potential lawsuit. the company though says safety is its first priority. >>> gas prices they continue to climb following the refinery fire. a new lun dberg survey finds that a gallon of gas now averages $3.76: in san francisco gas averages 4.21 a gallon. >>> it's crazy we're number three in the worl
