looking at how much rain we have measured so far, ukiah 0.75 inch of rain, lakeport 0.25 inches. in santa rosa 0.04 inch. and then basically nothing south of there. so as we go into the rest of the day, this will slowly make its way into the san francisco area over towards oakland and then into the peninsula by 4:00 to 5:00. but notice that the rain will start to kind of break up. so it's possible that we may not see much of that in the tri-valley or the south bay even later on this evening. so as we see this system finally making its progress to the south it looks to be weakening. we will take a break from the rain tomorrow for the most part and we will see another storm system moving in wednesday, continuing off and on throughout the day and tapering off on thursday. so, this first storm moving in will be a fairly weak one, only bringing 0.25 inch of rain. most of that comes later on this evening. the next storm that moves in looks to be stronger in terms of wind and rain, and could bring us another inch or so of rain across the bay area. while we take a live look outside in th
