if you're wondering how cold it will be, upper 20's at ukiah, lakeport, below freezing at santa rosa, concorde, livermore and right at or above freezing just about everywhere else. i will have the seven-day forecast coming up. kristen: thank you. in the south bay, we have construction at morgan hill as the work for the reservoir has begun. dustin dorsey explains why it is critical for water supply and how long it will take to complete. reporter: the south bay's biggest reservoir is getting a facelift. stage one of the anderson dam, seismic retrofit is underway after six month of delays. >> it is one of our most important pieces of water supply in santa clara county. infrastructures agent. we have an undersized pipe and a dam than his replacement. reporter: it is vulnerable to major earthquakes. that will be fixed during stage two of the project. during stage one, the current pipe that transports water out of the reservoir moves much too slow and needs to be replaced, this new 20 foot diameter 1750 foot tunnel will work 10 times faster. >> being able to get a large amount of water out
