lambda, yet. the data so far doesn't say they will escape our vaccines. i think our vaccines will hold up. alicia: what do we know about the mu variant?as discovered nine months ago in colombia, and it spread to many different countries, including the united states. it's in almost every state here in america but fortunately it makes up less than 1% of the cases that we have. there's about 2,000 cases here in the united states primarily seen in california, here in new york. we see some in texas and florida as well. and the data that we have so far on this mu variant is that in vitro, in the lab, it could possibly evade the vaccine effectiveness. it could possibl evade the monoclonal antibodies. that's only in the lab. we don't have hard core clinical data yet to suggest it may not work in the real world. phi c however, is going to be coming out with the data soon to give us more information. fortunately, right now it's not considered a major threat but remember when delta was only about 6% in this country and now it's the majority of cases so we do need to still continue to monitor it and take safety precautions as well. alicia: we saw
